What Type of Computers Do You Support?
We maintain and support modern Windows and Apple desktops and laptops. To provide the highest-quality support in Windows environments, we require you to have Windows 10 or 11, Pro or Enterprise, and recommend computers 5 years old or newer. If you don’t have Windows 10 or 11, we will help you upgrade during the onboarding process. For MacOS we require the device to be upgradeable to the most current version of MacOS.
Is “Unlimited” Really Unlimited?
Yes, it is! We stand by our commitment to total customer satisfaction. All of our plans offer unlimited remote IT support, and unlimited on-site support in select plans. We always track our time spent supporting your employees on their desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, in the form of ‘support tickets’. We report this time to you, and use it to identify problem areas, but will never bill for support past your normal subscription price. We do this by working proactively to prevent problems before they happen, implementing processes that promote success, ensuring hardware is under warranty, and providing a clear statement of work and clear terms and conditions.
What Types Of Support Are Included?
We offer truly unlimited remote support, with all in-scope services found below. We are able to resolve the majority of day-to-day issues remotely. However, we are happy to come on-site as necessary. If we do need to come on-site for work that is out-of-scope, a nominal call-out fee and our standard hourly rate applies.
Am I Locked Into a Long Term Commitment?
Yes (and no), our standard contract term is 12 months. Your satisfaction is our number one priority to ensure you renew next year! If we fail to live up to your expectations, we take your feedback seriously and we will do everything we can to make it right. However, if we both agree we are not a good fit for each other we would be happy to let you out of your contract with no penalty, and help you transition to another service provider. If you need to break your contract for a reason such as a merger, closure, or other unforeseen circumstances, we charge an early termination fee of 50% of the remainder of the contract. We’re also happy to help with anything needed during the transition process. We believe that our work speaks for itself and the vast majority of our clients have been with us for many years.
What If I Need to Change or Add Licenses To My Plan?
Our Managed IT Services are carefully packaged from our years of experience supporting organizations of all different sizes. While we are fairly flexible, we don’t negotiate on cyber-security! You can’t buy a car without a seatbelt, and you can’t buy our services without the proper cyber-security for your business. If you need to change or add a specific license (i.e. a specific Office 365 license, more cloud storage, or dark web monitoring), please contact us for a quote.
Do I Need to Buy New Computers?
In most cases, the computers your company uses now are fine. During the onboarding process we will audit your computers and determine which machines are outdated, out-of-warranty, or end-of-life. If found, we will prepare a list of recommendations, and a roadmap that works with your budget to get you up to date.
What If I Hire or Let Go Of An Employee?
Your support licenses are scalable. When you hire a new employee, let us know by calling or emailing our team and inform them you have new team member. They will get started onboarding the new employee and adjust your licenses accordingly. In situations where you need to let an employee go, we ask that you contact us BEFORE you inform them of their release, so that we may secure their corporate data and update our support system.
What Is The Pricing Like On Hardware?
For an estimate of hardware costs, get in touch to discuss your vision and requirements. We have relationships with several large distributors and wholesalers, allowing us to shop around for hardware and get the best prices available. When purchasing through us you also gain the advantage of our expertise regarding hardware synergy and longevity of different products at no extra cost!
